The Tree House!!!
With the help of a lot of friends, THE tree house was built on a small lot in the woods of Gloucester which was originally owned by my Grandfather, Ilmari "Jimo" Natti. It's inception was to be the bridal suite for myself and my (now) wife Janet in the summer of 2011. I am forever grateful for all the folks who donated their blood, sweat and beers to the construction process. Who knew that there were so many adults in my life that STILL enjoyed building "forts" in the woods?!? For the wedding, all we had managed was a platform with a ladder - but that was amazingly decorated with a tent, rose petals, lace, ribbons, even a stained glass and a bottle of Champagne on ice! Although I am not sure if it will ever be completely finished, as there are constantly new ideas for upgrades and add ons, by the spring of 2012 it was a weather tight structure- complete with a loft bed, propane heater, a porch and a styling cedar stair case. Although I will always remember it as "The Bridal Suite," it has become a great place to just relax, enjoy life, play some amazing music and reminding people how to be a kid again!
